Wilderland is a volunteer-run organic farm and community dedicated to the whole education of people, operated by The Wilderland Trust.
It is a one of a kind learning environment where facilities, tools and space are available for all people to come and engage together, co-creating right-relationship with eachother and the land.
Learn through land stewardship
People from all places and backgrounds gather at Wilderland to engage in organic farming and land stewardship. Our diverse horticultural practices, orchards, and permaculture projects serve as an outdoor classroom, offering opportunities to explore food sovereignty and regenerative land management.
Practice self reliance
Rooted in a pioneering do-it-yourself attitude, Wilderland allows you to practice self-reliance through off-grid systems, repairing rather than replacing, building what we need ourselves, managing our own roading and water, greywater bio-filtration, and more.
Take the journey from farm-to-market
Harness the abundance of the land to grow, harvest and create sustainable products for community use or sale at our roadside shop and local markets. We offer a great opportunity to easily go from an idea to a real product in a shop.
Experience community living
Volunteers of all lengths of stay live and work closely together on the land. This is greatly rewarding and deeply challenging at times. learning to live in right relationship with one another is a classroom of infinite depth.
